In One, Homantin

In One is a luxurious residential development with 844 units site atop Ho Man Tin MTR Station, it consists of 4 residential towers (24 to 25 storeys) with a 4-storeys podium accommodating a central podium park, clubhouse, swimming pool, car park and other ancillary facilities. In One is directly connected to the MTR station concourse via the shuttle lift tower to a new Integrated Entrance. The design of the Integrated Entrance went through different stages of process and approvals were obtained from relevant Government Departments and Committees including “Safety and Security Coordinating Committee (SSCC)” and the “Station and Transport Integration Committee (STIC)”.

Tin Shui Wai New Public Market

Taking inspiration from the vitality of Tin Shui Wai’s natural landscape, the first elevated public market in Hong Kong has been introduced with natural terracing forms, feature canopies, and urban landscaping design that resemble sprouting seeds. In contrast to the obsolete conventional market design, integration of MiC stalls, multiple landscaped public open spaces, event spaces, and an iconic hydroponic farm promote a friendly neighborhood with social sustainable place for community. The new market will serve as a new urban center of the district, where present-day market culture is reinterpreted as a community hub for everyday grocery shopping, production of fresh produce, and public enjoyment.

Hospital Authority Supporting Services Centre in North Lantau

The proposed Hospital Authority Supporting Services Centre in North Lantau (HASSC) is an industrial use building, operated by Hospital Authority (HA) to provide supporting services to existing and new hospitals. The design and construction project of the 6-storey building comprises Laundry, Central Food Production Unit, Data Centre (Tier III Standards), Central Emergency Stores for Linen and PPE, and Ancillary Services not only facilitates the functional performance of the building but also on the identity of humanity and harmony for workers.

21st Century Business Hub, Tung Chung

Tung Chung East is set to be transformed into a new town by the Government as part of their expansion plans for Tung Chung New Town. Situated in close proximity to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and Tuen Mun Check Lap Kok Tunnel, the site enjoys excellent connectivity with Guandong Province and Macau. Capitalizing on these advantages, the project aims to develop the site into a cutting-edge 21st Century Business Hub, featuring a mix of retail, office, and data center facilities.

Po Leung Kuk Choi Kai Yau School

Po Leung Kuk Choi Kai Yau School is a through-train school with both primary and secondary divisions. We believe a school is place to learn, an opportunity to encounter the world around oneself at a primary level. Located atop of a hill site overlooking the Kowloon peninsula with unparalleled panoramic views over the surrounding mountain range, the building massing spawns spontaneously with the ‘Fan’ shape of Caldecott Hill. The voids derived from this unique building form is again replenished with light, air, and other elements of nature, bringing in life to the new classrooms and allowing interaction to physically take place between the students and the environment they are exposed to, engaging nature into the process of learning, again.

CM+ Hotel

Hotels are delightful and interesting meeting places where the destinies and the lifelines of many travelers intersect, no matter how unique and different their backgrounds are. Metaphorically, the winding bends and curves on the façades of this exclusive twin hotel project sums up all the roads journeyed by the guests who once stayed. Once completed, this slick twin-tower hotel will provide 150 numbers guest suites with unparalleled sea view towards Victoria Harbour.

Emperor Hotel

Within the pulsating heartbeat of Causeway Bay, a captivating architectural gem emerges, gracefully embracing the challenge of a narrow site. This visionary project presents a splendid four-star hotel thoughtfully crafted for cosmopolitan explorers. Seamlessly weaving contemporary design with the rhythm of the dynamic city, the hotel’s modern facade stands as a testament to architectural innovation. Comprising approximately 300 stylish rooms, it caters to the discerning tastes of urban travelers. Student Hostels in Area 39

The project will provide close to 700 bed-spaces for one of the top universities in Hong Kong. As a nurturing ground where students can explore their aspirations and potentials, the idea behind this unique learning and accommodation complex is that students are able to rest, play, study, experience, interact and grow in a village like setting where leisure and learning will both form an integral part of their personal development process.

The Jockey Club One Health Tower, City University of Hong Kong

The idea of “One Health” to collectively join multiple disciplinary efforts working hand-in-hand to attain a healthier environment for people and animals will come to realization with this state-of-art multi-functional and multi-user facility, which will house Hong Kong’s first College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences – a strategic collaboration with Cornell University, soaring over a world-class concert hall with 1,600 seats uniquely designed for philharmonic performances, all suspended above a multi-purpose sports arena covering 3 indoor basketball courts and a built-in 200-meter-long hanging-running-track system. As a nurturing ground for the students to explore their aspirations and potentials, this mega learning complex will in turn boost the school’s research and training capabilities especially in the area of veterinary science and addressing critical public health issues under the “One Health” paradigm.

Kings Wing 1 & 2

Stretching an entire station length across the Shek Mun MTR station, this pair of mega size and prestige retail and office establishments will create a new cultural and commercial centre for the district. As one of the five newly established colleges of the university, the new building stretches around the historical hostel block previously erected on site rather than tearing it down and building over. Tin Fai Road Sports Centre Cum Community Hall

Ambience, tranquility, presence, harmony, disposition……these are some of the most profound vocabularies of civic architecture. The design philosophy behind the Tin Fai Road Sports Centre cum Community Hall is based precisely on these place-making ideas while emphasizing on the part of human sensory at a civic scale, through a constant play of light and shadow and an ambiguous continuum of inside and outside space. The complex houses an international standard multi-purpose games hall, a multi-purpose community hall, a competition standard outdoor climbing wall, and a number of multi-functional recreational rooms, children play areas, conferencing facilities, as well as a vast area of community landscape features.

Redevelopment of Block X

Our submission aims to reflect the built environment of Hong Kong, the Chinese word “Hong Kong” literally translates to “Fragrant Harbour”, a name stemming from the city’s incense trading past where aroma incense spread across the ports of Hong Kong.

Hong Kong International Airport Data Centre and Multipurpose Building

As an integral part of the digital and maintenance infrastructure for the Hong Kong International Airport’s Three-Runway System (3RS), this one-of-a-kind state-of-art high-tier data centre and vehicle maintenance depot facility cum airport office accommodation will create an all new infrastructural platform of virtual and physical technologies to cope with the Hong Kong International Airport’s future air traffic growth and to maintain Hong Kong’s competitiveness as an international aviation hub.

The Addi+ion

Set in a neighbourhood of one of the oldest residential settlement on the Kowloon Peninsula and a historical gathering ground for the vanished Tanka fishermen before its reclamation, this modern 27-storey apartment tower outfitted with retail and clubhouse facilities at podium levels attempts to re-invent its disappearing urban context, which dated back for centuries. As a metaphor, the building resembles a collage of a densely-populated boxed-in dwelling flats randomly staggering on each other to harbor the birth of a new cityscape.

Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks

Data Technology Hub is a pilot project spearheaded by Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) with the initiative to support the development of science and technology and the re-industrialization of Hong Kong. The development is modern and hi-tech with a focus on high-end, highly customizable and growing technology evolution in relation to new generation of consumer products embedded with Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. DT Hub serves to stimulate an encouraging working environment, well-designed with modern office provisions, recreational facilities as well as a large communal landscaped garden essential for a collaborative working environment. In the advanced technology sector, work can take place on virtual platforms defined by personal parameters. This assumed indifference is manifested across from one’s lap to work desks and stations through to the premises hosting these powerhouse – often isolated and clustered within a space. This project aims to explore this paradox to define the balance in productivity as well as the relationship between connectivity and data exchange as well as the correlation of the spatiality of the workspace itself.

West Kowloon Government Offices

On completion, the proposed twin towers will provide over 79,000 square meters of office space for the government, as well as a number of arts and educational venues. The notion of an open and transparent government is fully conveyed via a series of carefully formulated and interconnected civic spaces and public platforms throughout the buildings to encourage community engagement and promote cultural awareness. As a threshold between one of the oldest settlement on Kowloon Peninsula and the fading waterfront to the west, every effort is exploited to re-establish the connection between the people, the government and Hong Kong’s ever-elusive shoreline.

Fire and Ambulance Services Academy

On completion, the proposed Fire Services Training School cum Driving Training School in Tseung Kwan O will provide comprehensive physical training and simulation grounds, education and learning spaces, administration and logistics facilities, and a number of ancillary facilities over 16 hectares of land. To inspire positive interactions and promote sociable spaces within a very controlled and disciplined environment, all non-training related functional spaces are arranged along a boulevard alike green promenade, underlining a spatial continuum of academic and activity hotspots and at the same time emphasizing the iconic presence of the school.

Conversion of Morse Park Swimming Pool Complex

The existing Morse Park Swimming Pool Complex was originally opened to the public on 3 December 1970 and it has served the nearby community for nearly 50 years. The original swimming pool complex consist of two 50m long, 8 lanes swimming pools, 3 training pools, a children’s pool as well as a diving pool, all of which are outdoor pools. This project comprises of construction of a new indoor heated pool and provision of a new outdoor children’s pool in place of the existing secondary pool and children’s pool.

Wet Lab Conversion at HKSTP Building 6W

The project is the first case in Hong Kong to convert an existing office building to a Biosafety Level 2/3 full wet laboratory. The whole building is strategically upgraded and the existing curtain wall façade is modified to fulfil the latest Building Codes and International Standard of BSL 2/3 Laboratory. Floor plans are re-organized to suit the special need of lab spaces. New interior design of entrance hall, lift lobbies and common facilities and the wayfinding and signage design create new identity to the building.

The Cavaridge

The residential development includes 2 luxurious residential towers and 56 nos. of deluxe villas nestled against the undulating hillside of Kau To Shan. This development has a total GFA of 30,036 sq.m. The towers and houses are arranged in the orientation facing the Tolo Harbour, residents enjoy a panoramic view of the Shatin Racecourse and the prestigious scenery of Kau To Shan. Digital Reality Kin Chuen Data Centre

Dubbed Digital Realty Kin Chuen (HKG11), this state-of-art Tier-3 data centre installation will deliver up to 24 megawatts of IT capacity from the heart of Hong Kong’s developing data center cluster in Kwai Chung. This pilot project will create an all new infrastructural platform of digital, information and internet technology upon completion, safeguarding mission-critical data with the highest levels of security and operational reliability.

Yasumoto International Academic Park is a state-of-art research complex and teaching facility in one of the top universities in Hong Kong. As a nurturing ground where students can explore their aspirations and potentials, and the love of life-long learning, this massive teaching complex gradually dissipates itself into a progression of more intimate and at the same time more characteristic meeting and gathering spaces, both semi-enclosed or uncovered, as it comes down near the street levels, promoting a continuum of academic and extracurricular activity hotspots for the students.

Madam Wong Liu Wai Man Building

We believe a school is place to learn, an opportunity to encounter the world around oneself at a primary level. Like adding a new gem to the school, the addition of this new annex block includes both an indoor and an outdoor basketball courts, a series of multi-media arts and classrooms, and a semi-covered amphitheater and performance space, allowing interaction to physically take place among the students and the school.
